Bearing™ Atelier
Bearing™ is a concept atelier and studio with entirely in-house design, making, and printing of its brand notebooks and fully conceptualizing and tailoring service for its customers. Tony Costin, the founder of the Bearing™ concept, is the hands-on designer and maker behind the recognisable mark. The atelier focuses on 'honest manufacturing' with only hand-operated, manual small machines used, managing closely transparent information, low waste, cost and price that are genuinely reflected in Bearing™ notebooks.
BN™ NOTES.
The first Bearing™ notebook was created as an affordable casual hand-made product from an honest approach to design and making.
The Bearing™ handcrafted appearance comes from choosing human-touch imperfection with extra hand-handle care over the machine-perfected finish that can lead to wasting paper by shortening the notebook sizes in the process.
Only one cut has to be applied to a Bearing™ Notebook in our atelier that trims only one age of the pages. Our A6 and A5 sizes are kept by using extra time and careful hand-handling in folding and aligning the papers by hand and eye, each individual notebook, to avoid further cuts.
This comes with bearing the casual imperfection; avoiding wasting paper and additional costs makes our notebook and their prices affordable.
